Twist And Shout / There’s A Place, Tollie 9001. March 2, 1964. Record has dark green print on a yellow label with a box logo above the center hole. However, the box is noticeably thicker and moves in clockwise direction rather than the counterclockwise direction of the official box logo. Its trail off areas appears to have the initials “RA” and the “MR” machine stamper logo. This record was pressed by Monarch Records.

Do You Want To Know A Secret / Thank You Girl, Vee-Jay VJ-587. March 23, 1964. The promotion copies have blue bracket logos and the words “Promotional Copy” in blue below the logos on the left and right sides of the center hole and black print above and below the center hole. There are two variations:

1. Label has the A side title on three lines, B side title on two lines, thick print. The trail off area to the A side has initials “URJ”, a hand etched circled “R” and the machine stamped MR logo. Record manufactured by Monarch Records.

2. Label has the A side title on two lines, B side on one line, thin print. The trail off area to the A and B sides has initials “URJ” and a hand etched master numbers, as well as the Audio Matrix and ARP logos. This record was manufactured by ARP.

Do You Want To Know A Secret / Thank You Girl, Vee-Jay VJ-587. March 23, 1964. Record has thin silver lettering on a black label backdrop with an oval logo and an outer rim colorband. Its thin compressed type allows the A side’s long song title to appear on one line. The initials “URJ” are hand etched in the trail off areas of both sides. The trail off area on the A side has the master number 63-3191, followed by “-1”, and “T1”. The B side has the master number 31-3219, followed “-3” and “T1”. This record was manufactured by Columbia Records.

The single was released with a picture sleeve, which features hand-painted faces of the boys on black background with “The Beatles” in yellow, the record number and Vee-Jay brackets logo in grey and the song titles in white. The texture of the black paper used for the sleeve is similar to that of a paper back. The are straight cut (photo) and die insert tab version of the sleeve.

Do You Want To Know A Secret / Thank You Girl, Vee-Jay VJ-587. March 23, 1964. Record has silver print on an all black label with the brackets logo and two thick horizontal bars running through the label’s center hole. The initials “URJ” and matrix numbers are hand etched  in its trail off area, which also contains a barely legible Audio Matrix machine stamped logo. This record was pressed by Southern Plastics. Record released with original picture sleeve.
