1. First pressing, July 7, 1967. The records were housed in the Type 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 company sleeves. Black label with silver print. The publishing year was printed on the label, as “(p) 1967″. The beginning of the perimeter print was written “GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD” and “SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS” text. Tax code KT. Matrix numbers: Side A: 7XCE 18425-1 (or -2), Side B: 7XCE 18426-1 (or -2).

2. Second pressing, sammer 1967 – end of 1967. Same black label with silver print. Adds a reference to the Our World broadcast, “(Recorded during Live World Television Transmission)”, and a production credit for George Martin on the side 1. This marked the first British single to credit for George Martin. Matrix numbers: Side A: 7XCE 18425-1 (or -2), Side B: 7XCE 18426-1 (or -2).

3. Third pressing, 1969 – 1971. Black label with silver print. The publishing year was printed on the label, as “(p) 1967”. The beginning of the perimeter print was written “GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD” Push-out or solid center. Matrix numbers: Side A: 7XCE 18425-2, Side B: 7XCE 18426-2.

4. Fourth pressing, March 6, 1976. From “The Beatles Singles Collection 1962-1970″ box set (BS-24). These pressings have original top-opening sleeve with green front and pictures back.

Black label with silver EMI logo and silver print. “THE EMI RECORDS LTD” printed at the start perimeter print and “MADE IN GT BRITAIN” printed at the end of the perimeter print. The publishing year was printed on the label, as (p) 1967″. Matrix numbers: Side A: 7XCE 18425-3, Side B: 7XCE 18426-3.

5. Fifth pressing, December 6, 1982. From “The Beatles Singles Collection” blue box set (BSCP-1). These pressings have original top-opening pictures sleeve.

Black label with silver EMI logo and silver print.ALL RIGHTS OF THE PRODUCER” printed at the start perimeter print. Around the 11 o’clock position in the rimtext the wording is:UNAUTHORISED PUBLIC PERFORMANCE, BROADCASTING, COPYING AND HIRING”. Instead, addedMANUFACTURED IN THE UK BY EMI RECORDS LIMITED” text at the end of the perimeter print. Matrix numbers: Side A: 7XCE 18425-3, Side B: 7XCE 18426-3.

6. Sixth pressing, July 7, 1987. 20th Anniversary 7″ single edition, Parlophone R5620. These pressings have alternative top-opening pictures sleeve with bare code on the back side.

7. Seventh pressing, July 7, 1987. 20th Anniversary 12″ single edition, Parlophone 12R5620. These pressings have alternative side-opening pictures sleeve with bare code on the back side.

Black label with silver print but without EMI logos.

8. Eigth pressing beginning of the 90s. The final pressing has silver label with black textur print and logo. Rimtext embossed on the trail off area. The rimtext wording is: “UNAUTHORISED COPYING, HIRING, RENTING, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE AND BROADCASTING”. Housed in original plain black die-cut sleeve.
