Ain’t She Sweet / If You Love Me, Baby, Polydor NH 52317. The recording was also made in Hamburg Friedrich-Ebert-Halle on June 22 & 23, 1961.

1. First pressing, May 29, 1964. Original Polydor company orange sleeves have “MADE IN ENGLAND” text on the back side.

Orange “scroll” labels. The label lists the artists as The Beatles vocal: John Lennon on the side A and as The Beatles with Tony Sheridan, vocal on the side B. “Made In England” white print on the labels. “Mfd. Sweet Georgia Brown / Nobody’s Child, Polydor NH 52906, January 31, 1965. Germany import only, January-February 1965. Unissued in U.K.

Red company sleeves have wavy cut at top and black half-circle logos.

Polydor advertised that the single was by “Tony Sheredan with George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, ect.” Red labels have black half-circle logos. The label lists the artists as Tony Sheridan. Vocal backed by “?” appears below his name. Matrix numbers: Side A: 52906 -2A; Side B: and 52906-2B. “Made in Germany”  stampers : “1” and ” A4″ -V.

Sweet Georgia Brown. Tony Sheridan first recorded Sweet Georgia Brown on December 21, 1961, at the Musikhalle in Hamburg, without Beatles involvement. Then, on May 24, 1962, the Beatles recorded the backing track for the song at Hamburg’s Studio Rahlstedt. This Paul McCartney arrangement featuring John on rhythm guitar, Paul on the bass, George on lead guitar, Pete Best on drums and Roy Young on piano. John, Paul and George also provide backing vocals. Tony Sheridan added his lead vocal two weeks later on June 7. On January 3, 1964, Tony Sheridan recorded a new vocal track under the supervision of producer Paul Murphy in Studio Rahlstedt, using the Beatles’ backing track from May 1962. This is the most common version of Sweet Georgia Brown. The mono version was first released on the this single.

Nobody’s Child. Tony Sheridan’s recording features Sheridan on lead vocal and guitar, Paul on bass and Pete Best on drums. The recording was also made in Harburg’s Friedrich-Ebert-Halle on June 22 & 23, 1961. In January 1964, Tony Sheridan recorded a solo version of Nobody’s Child without the Beatles. This is a solo version used for the B side of this single.

The Beatles First, Polydor Special MCPS 236201.

The Beatles First (Recorded In Hamburg 1961 with Tony Sheridan & Guests), Polydor Special, MCPS 236201. Album features the eight Hamburg recordings involving the Beatles plus four songs recorded by Tony Sheridan without the Beatles. While it appears that Polydor in U.K. initially planned on releasing The Beatles First in mono, the company ultimately decided to press the LP exclusively in stereo upon its release on the Polydor Special label. This album is a reissue of the eponymous German album which was released in April 1964 and imported to England.

Germany’s “The Beatles’ First”, HI-FI 46432, was published in mono (LPHM 46 432) and stereo (SLPHM 237 432) versions. The album has a purple/black sleeve with “PRINTED IN GERMANY” below black line on the back side. Only mono version were imported to England.

1. First pressing, August 4, 1967. The album outer sleeves were manufactured by Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd. The back of the album sleeve features liner notes by Tony Sheridan. Sleeve has “Stereo also playable mono” in small print below the Polydor Special logo. Sleeve has “The Beatles” printed under each song on which they play, while does not. Both variations can be found with or without lamination on the back sleeve.

Sleeve has expanded language to provide comfort to purchasers that the “stereo record can be played on mono reproducers” and advisers consumers that “If in doubt, consult your dealer”. Sleeve has “The Beatles” printed under each song on which they play, while does not. Labels have “STEREO SPECIAL” text and “ST” for stereo in a circle located next to the “33” circle. Matrix numbers: Side One: 236201 237632-2 A-1; Side Two: 236201 237632-2 B.

The Beatles Tapes from the David Wigg Interviews, Polydor 2683 068.

Released July 30, 1976. “The Beatles Tapes From the David Wigg Interviews”, is an audio album of interviews with the band and journalist David Wigg, who interviewed the individual Beatles at various points from December 1968 or January 1969 to December 1973, and excerpts from some of these recordings constitute the album’s spoken words. Although he was a columnist; “Young London” for the London newspaper The Evening News, the interviews were intended for broadcast on Radio 1’s Scene and Heard. Interspersed among the interview excerpts are instrumental performances of Beatles songs, played by other musicians. The Beatles tried to prevent the album’s publication, but it was released in the United Kingdom on 1976 under the Polydor label.

Double album, includes a front laminated black gatefold sleeve and six-pages booklet with various black & white photos 1963-75. Booklet stapled inside. Record housed in a plain white paper inner sleeves.

Records have a red labels with black Polydor logos. Matrix numbers: Side 1: 2478089 A//1 420 03; Side 2: 2478089 B//1 420 03; Side 3 : 2478090 A//1 420 03/ Side 4: 2478090 B//1 420 03.  Possible matrix numbers: Record 1: A//2, B//2; Record 2: A//2; A//3; A//4.
