Beatles VI, Parlophone CPCS 104.

Release 1966. This English version of “Beatles VI” has the same track list as the American version. But the song “Bad Boy” officially published in England on the album “A Collection Of Beatles Oldies”, in December, 1966.

Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front laminated flipback sleeve, small “stereo” on front. Sleeve has a misspelled title track as “Dizzy Miss Lizzie” on the back side.

1. First pressing, 1966. Black & Yellow label with “The Gramophone Co. Ltd” perimeter print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEEX 112-A15; Side 2: ST-2-2451 YEEX 113-A15. Some copies of the “Beatles VI” have the labels without the side numbers but with “KT” tax code.

Variation 1. The first copies of “Beatles VI” has label error “Sold In UK…”. How many of these copies were made is not known.

2. Second pressing, November 1969 until 1970. Black label with one silver EMI logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co Ltd” printed at the start perimeter print and “Made In GT. Britain” lower text. Sepia, black & white LP advertising or white paper “Patent…” inner sleeves. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEEX 112-A15; Side 2: YEEX 113-A15.

The Beatles, Parlophone P-PCS 7067-8

Release 1968. Top opennig, gatefold and full laminated numbered sleeve with salient “The Beatles” on front. Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The Set is the same as the original include poster, four photos and black inner sleeves.

1. First Pressing, 1968. Black & Yellow label with “The Gramophone Co. Ltd” Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 709-1; Side 2: YEX 710-1; Side 3: YEX 711-1; Side 4: YEX 712-1.

Few copies has label error “Sold In U.K.” (on the Record 1 only?). How many of these copies were made is not known.

Decca contract pressing:

Yellow Submarine, Odeon PPCS 7070.

Release 1969. The Odeon label was an EMI subsidiary that pressed Beatles LP to be shipped out and distributed abroad. Thus, small quantities of this album on Odeon may have been pressed for distribution in Portugal. Album have same Apple flipback and front laminated sleeve with red lines above and below rear sleevenote. Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Black and white Odeon label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 715-1; Side 2: YEX 716-1. Black inner sleeve.

Sleeve have gold and red Odeon sticker on the back side.

Abbey Road, Parlophone PPCS 7088.

Release 1969. Album have same Apple full laminated sleeve with gold and red Parlophone sticker on the back side. Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.
