Cry For A Shadow / Why (Can’t You Love Me Again), Polydor, NH 52275. Second British-manufactured single featuring Beatles Hamburg regordings. The recording was also made in Hamburg Friedrich-Ebert-Halle on June 22 & 23, 1961.
1. First pressing, February 28, 1964. Original Polydor company orange sleeves have “MADE IN ENGLAND” text on the back side.


Orange “scroll” labels have A-side credited as “The Beatles” & with B-side credited as “Tony Sheridan with The Beatles”. “Made In England” & “Recording first published 1961″ texts on the labels. “Mfd. By Deutsche Gramophone (Great Britain) Ltd” rim print. Matrix numbers: Side One: NH52275-A1; Side Two: NH52275-B1. The single was pressed with push-out centers, although some copies were manufactured with solid center.
