Something New, Parlophone CPCS 101.

Release end of 1964. One of the first Beatles LPs pressed up for export outside of the UK, and it went mostly to Sweden. This English version of “Something New” has the same track list as the American version. But the song “Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand” (I Want To Hold Your Hand) officially published in England on the album “Rarities”, in 1978.

1. First pressing, end of 1964. Black & Yellow Parlophone label with “The Parlophone Co. Ltd” perimeter print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEEX 7-B12; Side 2: YEEX 8-B12.

Variation 1. The first copies of “Something New” has label error “Sold In UK” and tax code KT by spin-hole. How many of these copies were made is not known.

The Beatles’ Second Album, Parlophone CPCS 103.

Release 1965. This English version of “The Beatles’ Second Album” has the same track list as the American version. But the stereo track of the “Thank You Girl” officially published in England on the album “Past Masters Vol. 1″, in 1988.

Beatles VI, Parlophone CPCS 104.

Release 1966. This English version of “Beatles VI” has the same track list as the American version. But the song “Bad Boy” officially published in England on the album “A Collection Of Beatles Oldies”, in December, 1966.

Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front laminated flipback sleeve, small “stereo” on front. Sleeve has a misspelled title track as “Dizzy Miss Lizzie” on the back side.

1. First pressing, 1966. Black & Yellow label with “The Gramophone Co. Ltd” perimeter print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEEX 112-A15; Side 2: ST-2-2451 YEEX 113-A15. Some copies of the “Beatles VI” have the labels without the side numbers but with “KT” tax code.

Release 1968. Top opennig, gatefold and full laminated numbered sleeve with salient “The Beatles” on front. Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The Set is the same as the original include poster, four photos and black inner sleeves.
